
Regional Ayerveda Research Centre (RARC) Dimapur organised a webinar on June 24 to sensitise and create link between Ayush officials, practitioners and various stakeholders of Ayush from Nagaland and Mizoram states.
A press release from research officer (Ay) in-charge Dr. P. Srinivas stated that, the event was graced by Dr. Adarsh Kumar, AD, CCRAS New Delhi and Dr. Bendangtula, AD Ayush department Nagaland. Keynote was delivered by SMPB Nagaland member secretary, Dr. Tia Kaba Jamir. RO in-charge of RARC Dimapur Dr. P. Srinivas presided over the webinar and presented the aims and objectives of Ayush Sanjivani app based assessment study. RO RARC Dimapur Dr. Vilas Gangurde presented about Ayurveda measures of prophylaxis of COVID-19, while RO in-charge CRU (H) Dimapur Dr. Prabin Kumar Shaw presented about Homoepathy measures of prophylaxis in COVID-19.
Others who participated were deputy director Ayush Mizoram Dr. S. Mara Thansiami and AD Ayush Mizoram Dr. Lalkhawngaihi Renthlei.
A total of 30 to 35 Ayush fraternity from Nagaland and Mizoram states participated in the webinar. It must be noted that ministry of AYUSH had developed “Ayush Sanjivani” mobile application to evaluate the outcome of measures adopted by public for enhancing immunity and keeping themselves safe.
