You went outside of our home state because you believed in yourself, you think that you’re responsible enough to face any challenge in life. Therefore, I would like to appeal to you all to act like a responsible person.
Some of your parents, doesn’t want you to be back home, because they are afraid that either you might get infected or you might bring back the virus along. But the Leaders fought tooth and nail to bring you home.
The government provides Train, buses, food and lodging. Now that you’re home, so learn to face the obstacles instead of being an obstacle. Mon being the highest number of returnees receiver, you might not get the accommodation as you expected, but whatever you are getting are the best your leaders could afford. There were some dramas but I don’t want to mention it, but just sharing in general.
You went out by yourself and for yourself. You worked and earn for yourself. Some of you might have never contributed anything to the society or Church even at your village level. But our leaders and Church workers are kind enough to bring you back and trying their best to protect you from the invisible enemy.
Some of the returnees are really good, they are behaving well, but there are some who are really notorious. The good ones should try to control those notorious ones instead of good ones being carried away by those notorious rebellious few.
You are to follow the SOPs strictly, because those SOPs have been laid down to protect you and your near and dear ones. The DC, SP, CMO, and Additional SP are all in self isolation at home. For whom? For you and me. They are the outsiders by birth but being Government servant, they have to come out and serve us…
The people receiving you, escorting you, serving you meals, etc. they all have their family members back at home. But they came and serve you even after knowing that they will also be in self Quarantine after meeting/serving you guys. So, don’t think that you are the only people who are in Quarantine. Those Drivers who dropped you to Quarantine centre haven’t seen their families from the day they started ferrying the returnees.
The day I went out from home, my sister-in-law packed me a mosquito net in my bag, saying "Stay safe in the Jungle after coming back from Mon". Does it mean she don’t love me? No! She was just protecting my old mother and those beautiful children whom I called my Niece and Nephews.
Those NGO Leaders whom you see with big smile while receiving you guys haven’t gone back home for many days, because they are afraid of themselves. Therefore, it is my humble request to you all, to be responsible citizens. You will not be in Quarantine for your entire life so let’s bear the inconveniences together. United, we can win this battle.
