Wangyuh Konyak, former MP Lok Sabha has expressed sorrow at the demise of late Jaswant Singh, former union minister at the age of 82 years from New Delhi on September 27.
In a condolence note, Wangyuh described late Jaswant as a complete gentleman with generous and approachable character and in his demise, the nation has lost an elderly politician and that his generosity will always be remembered.
Wangyuh stated that, Jaswant during his tenure as deputy chairman Planning Commission of India, had sanctioned a sum of Rs.35 crores for construction of roads, bridges and schools under 45 Tehok A/C. Wangyuh conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and that the departed soul rest in peace.
