
Wozhuro Range Council Union (WRCU) has resolved to extend restrictions of public and vehicular movement within its range from August 11 to 21.
A press release by WRCU chairman Yanbemo Tungu and geneal secretary, Peter Khuvung stated that this was resolved at the meeting held on August 9 as a precautionary measure and for public safety. It also requested citizens to refrain from unnecessary movement except for emergency purposes.
WRCU also asked all Wokha bound returnees from within the state, district or outside the state to compulsorily register as per order issued by DC on August 7. No person will be allowed to enter the range without producing clearance or registration certificate issued by medical team, Wokha.
Further, any person going against the decision of the union will be dealt according to the resolution of the six village councils, students, youth, Eloe Hohos, churches and various organisations and leaders of Wozhuro range.
