Meriema Village Youth Organization (MVYO) has informed the general public that hunting and fishing under Meriema village jurisdiction is strictly prohibited. A press release by MVYO president, Asa Shüya requested the public to refrain from such activities which was also against the government order on banning of hunting,
MVYO further warned that defaulters would be strictly penalized by seizing of arms and ammunition, fishing equipments and with monetary fine.
