State’s COVID tally at 11115

Nagaland on Saturday recorded 24 COVID-19 positive cases —19 in Dimapur, three in Kohima and one each in Peren and Tuensang, taking the total infection count to 11115.

According to state health department’s daily bulletin, 25 COVID-19 positive patients have also recovered—19 in Tuensang, four in Mon and one each in Mokokchung and Phek.
Out of the total 11115 positive cases, 9724 have recovered and currently there are 1218 active cases in the state.
India’s virus tally climbs to 93.51 lakh
PTI adds: India’s COVID-19 tally of cases climbed to 93.51 lakh with 41,322 new infections being reported in a day, while 87,59,969 people have recovered so far pushing the national recovery rate to 93.68 per cent, according to the Union health ministry data updated on Saturday.
The total coronavirus cases increased to 93,51,109 and the death toll climbed to 1,36,200 with the virus claiming 485 more lives, the data updated at 8 am showed. The COVID-19 case fatality rate stands at 1.46 per cent.
