
Khezhakeno Youth Organisation (KYO) organized a one-day people’s festival-cum-cultural day at Zhipfhemi community hall, Khezhakeno village on December 5.
A press release by KYO president, Senovielhou Koza stated the event was conducted to embolden and educate youngsters to be ambassadors of the rich heritage. Village council chairman Ichinyi, spoke on the importance of celebrating the rich and diverse culture. He appreciated the efforts and dedication of the youths for the welfare of the village and hoped that they would continue to create a sense of pride and honour by preserving the rich cultural heritage.
Earlier, programme was chaired by Tawochu Koza, invocation by Ngochinyi Koza, pastor KCRC Upper. Demonstration and showcase of culture were the highlights of the programme. The annual event was mostly restricted to village youths, leaders and elders.
