Apropos the article “NPF reacts to claims of state Finance department” published on September 26, the second para should read as– “…when the first Budget was presented by the then State Finance Minister, K. Therie during DAN-I, the surplus Budget was Rs. 18.47 cr for the year 2003-2004.”
Further, the third para should read as “This Vote on Account, which in layman’s term means the interim permission for grant in advance, was presented by Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio to settle….” and not as published.
