PHED division, Zunheboto, executive engineer, Kitoshe Y Aye has informed that in order to facilitate the NHIDCL and the contractor to undertake the ongoing 2 lane road construction smoothly, the department would begin dismantling and shifting of water supply pipelines which would affect Zunheboto headquarters and Satakha town.
Consumers located within Alahuto point junction till south point, AOC pump till Amiphoto have been requested to bear with the department as the main distribution tank line laid along the road would be dismantled from March 16, 2021.
The release stated that alternative option to restore water supply during the road construction period was being explored.
Meanwhile, consumers of Satakha town have been informed that the town taping points of Asakivi and Azughogho has to be cleared from March 16.
While requesting the consumers to bear with the maintenance, the department informed that restoration of water supply would be made at the earliest possible time.
