Security forces in a joint operation with the police apprehended two individualson charges of possessingillegal liquor at Surumi-Kitsakita road, Zunheboto on May 15.
According to PRO IGAR (N), security forces along with the police recovered illegal liquor worth Rs. 3.8 lakh (approx).
The apprehended individuals along with the recovered liquor were handed over to Zunheboto police station for further investigation, PRO informed.
Meanwhile, on the same day, security forces with the police apprehended two individuals with contraband at general area Zubza village, Kohima.
According to PRO IGAR (N), security forces with state the police seized a truck full of smuggled Myanmarese forest products worth approx Rs. 28 lakh at Zubza, Kohima.
The apprehended individuals along with recovered items have been handed over to range forest officialsDimapur for further investigation, PRO informed.
