EDSYO helps ease traffic woes in Dmu

East Dimapur Sumi Youth Organization (EDSYO) volunteers on Thursday assisted Dimapur Traffic Police personnel in regulating vehicular movement along the jam-packed area – Purana Bazaar junction-Zion Hospital (Burma Camp) to Padum Pukhuri junction. 
 EDSYO had also rendered their service earlier this year during the monsoon season, braving the rain. After the closing down of the old RCC Bridge at Nagarjan and dismantling of bridge connecting Purana Bazar and Walford Bridge for constructing of a new bridge, Dimapur has been experiencing heavy traffic along NH 29 (Dimapur to Chumukedima).
On Thursday,50 EDSYO volunteers descended on the highway to enforce single laning of vehicles and basic driving etiquette.  EDSYO would be helping the traffic department for three days.
