Lotha Public Organization (LPO) has urge the Naga to emanate from obdurate and do our bit towards peace and unity at this epoch – making of the Nagas. For far too long, Nagas have been absorb in _ighting amongst ourselves. It is time to transfiguration that, true spirit of reconciliation and forgiveness just for the sake of the younger posterity in the Naga society has been long overdue.
While reckoning for an early settlement of the protracted Indo-Naga Political issue. The LPO has appeal the GoI to resume the Indo-Naga Political talk at the highest level i.e Prime Minister level to expedite the talk at the earliest possible time and keeping in mind to adulate and commend the Naga Flag and Constitution as beseech by the Naga people. These two inherent rights are very dear to Nagas and it is regarded as the “Heart and Soul” of the Naga people. Further, it also said Nagas had been dealing with great Indian leaders including Mahatma Gandhi, Jaya Prakash Narayan, India’s first Prime minister Nehru, eight Indian Prime minister and now Prime minister Narendra Modi, the historic Indo-Naga Framework Agreement was signed on August 3, 2015 in New Delhi for an early logical conclusion based on the unique history and the situation of the Nagas and sharing the sovereign power and provide for an “ enduring inclusive new relationship of peaceful Co-existenc of the two entities.
LPO state that, the core issue of the Naga _lag and Constitution as penchant by the Naga will be a forward looking and stimulate a clear message and manifestation of bride and identity to the Nagas, as the Naga future of peaceful coexistence as one people, one Nation, one land can’t be determined by any force on earth, except by the Naga people itself and by will of God.
Therefore, the Lotha Naga people stands committed and _irm in upholding the Naga identity until our ultimate goal of sovereignty and integration is achieved.
Meanwhile, the LPO has entreaty the entire Naga to uphold the unique political history, identity, and legitimate rights of the Nagas which has been documented and recognised by the GoI. It also stated that, the LPO has acknowledged and appreciate The GoI for recognising the unique history and the situation of the Nagas by signing The Framework agreement. LPO further urged GoI to anticipate, respect and adhere the FA with letter and spirit and recognition of Naga _lag and Constitution would finally bring about the honourable and acceptable political settlement between the GoI and the Nagas. When the GoI has officially acknowledge The Unique history of Nagas, The Naga must not lose sight of this fact and accept this achievement as a nuclear family to come together as a single entity of being a Naga family.
Further, the LPO also urged upon all the Naga Intelligentsia, individuals, organizations and government of the day to display their true spirit of oneness and welcome the New Nagalim for just peace and prosperity now or never. LPO added that Nagas are at a very critical juncture, at the threshold of entering a new era passing by our chequred history and in the vent of signing the final agreement without the indispensable manifestation of our identity and our future. We will be wrong to say that our situation and history have been unique. Future generations would wish this should have never been done. It is not about swagger, it is about pertinacious.
