Phevima Eco Club (PEC) celebrated its first foundation day on September 10, with Assistant Professor of History, Dimapur Government College, Neisenuo Apon Rengma, as guest speaker.
The event was also joined by NSS Unit-DGC.
A press release by PEC stated that Rengma expressed inspiration and motivation for club’s success and congratulated PEC on their one year mark. She also shared how NSS got into close proximity with village and PEC.
She further suggested for herbal garden and advised on plantations that were beneficial for the environment.
President, PEC Vibozo delivered welcome address and highlighted foundation of Eco Club, while chairman, Phevima Village, Vitho Zao conveyed appreciation to the club for their progressive work in village.
