Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) while conveying its appreciation to the state cabinet for approving the creation of Chümoukedima and Niuland districts into two new separate districts said that it would “remain ever grateful” for this “path-breaking decision”.
In a press release, CPO president Vichütuolie Mere and general secretary Mhiesisato Vüprü stated that. This would ultimately benefit the people of the new districts which has been a long-felt aspiration of the Chakhroma people.
“This will be marked as historic for fulfilling the desire of the people and for ushering in better administration and justice to the doorsteps of the people”, it further stated.
DTHF: Dimapur Tribal Hoho Forum (DTHF) has expressed happiness on the creation of three new districts and congratulated the people.
The forum also acknowledged the “bold and right decision” taken by the cabinet for creation of new districts and appealed to the people of Nagaland especially the citizens of the newly created districts to extend cooperation to the government for development and progress of the state.
In a press release, DTHF president Zhato Kimho and secretary Wanthang Rengma stated that the expansion of development activities of the state was the hope of the people and therefore, creation of new districts was a sign of progress.
WSKH: Welcoming the cabinet’s decision, Western Sumi Kukami Hoho (WSKH) acknowledged the state government for declaring Niuland and Chumukedima as districts.
In a press release, WSKH president S. Vihuto Yepthomi said that it was a historic moment for the people of Western Sumi and Chumukedima “whose dreams and aspirations have been fulfilled”.
It viewed that the upgradation of these “two important towns” would bring much needed development in the areas and improve the livelihood of the people.
RSU: Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) has appreciated the state government for fulfilling the long-awaited aspiration of the Rengmas by upgrading Tseminyu sub-division into a district.
RSU acknowledged various leaders and CSOs for being with its people throughout the journey of their legitimate demand and prayed that the Almighty would abundantly bless all the contributors.
