Minister of Housing and Mechanical and chairman DPDB Mokokchung, Tongpang Ozukum on Tuesday inspected ongoing construction of 33/11 kv Mokokchung Power House Sub-Division at Salangtem ward and asked the officials of Techno-Power Enterprise Private Limited to complete the project before its stipulated time. The projected was executed under North East Region Power System Improvement Project (NERPSIP). Tongpang also interacted with the officials and pointed out that the addition of power sub-division was a long awaited dream for Mokokchung. He thanked the chief minister and the Ministry of Power, government of India, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.
He further thanked the All Ward Union Mokokchung for amicably settling the land purchase for the site.
