Postal dept defers launching of CSI

The Postal department has deferred the launching of Core System Integration (CSI) which was scheduled to be rolled out on February 8, and will be launched on February 11, supdt. of post offices Razuzakie Phinyo informed in a press note. CSI plans to integrate all the post offices across India into one single Central server, with robust IT infrastructure that will enable better customer service with a facility like track and trace on real time basis, Phinyo said.
