Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed that the department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has launched the “Fit India” mobile app as a part of the commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
According to a DIPR report, the app comes with a host of features such as customised diet plan, steps counter, calorie monitor, sleep tracker etc.
In an endeavor to make fitness tools accessible to all, all these features are made free for users.
NBSE informed that the app would be available on both Android and iOS devices.
All heads of registered institutions of the board have been requested to inform parents, teachers and students on the Fit India mobile app and encourage them to make use of the app.
