M/s Seyie Gas Service on Thursday lodged a first information report (FIR) with the North Police Station, Kohima against one LPG truck driver accused of black marketing.
In the FIR made available to the media, the chief executive officer (CEO) of Seyie Gas Service, Kuolachalie Seyie alleged that the accused identified as one Sobin Daimary (30), driver of LPG truck (NL 07A-9984) of M/s Wokha Gas, was involved in black-marketing at Pherima on February 13.
He claimed that the accused driver was caught red-handed by one ‘maj.’ Neisalie belonging to a Naga political group.
On questioning, Seyie stated that the accused made false statement claiming that the consignment belonged to M/s Seyie Gas Service, which caused “provocation and misunderstanding” between the management of the Gas Service, the said political group and public of the area.
Seyie said the act was not only a crime tarnishing the integrity and authenticity of all LPG distributors, but also an act of defaming his agency–M/s Seyie Gas Service.
K Seyie in the FIR urged the authorities to take prompt legal action against the driver and also the distributor M/s Wokha Gas “on the grounds of master-and-servant joint liabilities” without delay.
