Nagaland logs 12 fresh Covid-19 cases

Nagaland’s Covid-19 cases have been on a declining trend in the past few days as the state on Friday recorded 12 fresh Covid-19 positive cases and nil deaths.
Of the fresh cases, eight were from Dimapur, two in Kohima and one each in Mokokchung and Wokha, taking the total caseload to 35340.
Further, a total of 1434365 persons have been inoculated against Covid-19 till February 18 (810608 first dose and 623757 second dose) while 20473 received their booster shot. Also, 67363 teenagers received their Covaxin shots (55885 first dose and 11478 second dose).
PTI: With 25,920 people testing positive for coronavirus infection in a day, India’s tally of COVID-19 cases rose to 4,27,80,235, while the death toll climbed to 5,10,905 with 492 fresh fatalities, Health ministry stated.
The active cases further declined to 2,92,092 comprising 0.68 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has further improved to 98.12 per cent, the ministry said.
