Modern College Kohima (MCK), department of B.Voc. (retail management & IT) and department of economics organised an industrial tour to Likla Thangjam Agro Insustries Pvt. Ltd at Nilakuthi, Imphal as part of its academic curriculum.
On behalf of the company, HR manager, Robert Lourembam and his team gave presentations on the history of Likla Pvt. Ltd and how it emerged as one of the pioneers in food and beverage manufacturing industry in Manipur state.
They also presented the standard operating procedure, supply chain management, waste management, branding and promotions, marketing strategies, traditional vs digital marketing and retail marketing.
The programme concluded with feedback sessions from visitors where faculty members and students interacted with the team members.
Altogether, 23 students along with three faculty members participated at the industrial tour.
