Dimapur District Anti tobacco Squad (DATS) on September 14 seized a huge consignment of contraband tobacco products.
According to a press release by DNO NTCP Dimapur Dr. C Tetseo, the District Anti tobacco Squad (DATS) team led by ACP (Traffic) T Kikon seized the contraband products which were headed for Manipur.
The release stated that a case was registered under relevant sections of IPC, COTPA 2003 and FSSAI. The two accused Salim Uddin and Rafique Uddin were forwarded to court with police remand of 24 hours, informed the release.
