Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting was held on October 6 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Peren office.
According to a DIPR report, chairperson of the meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Peren, Keyirangding Hegui informed the members that the 75th Anniversary of Peren Township which was scheduled to be held on October 11-12 have been deferred and that the new date would be intimated later.
Longleng: Meanwhile, Longleng DPDB monthly meeting was held under the chairmanship of DC, Dharam Raj on October 6 at the DPDB hall.
According to a DIPR report, addressing the DPDB members, Raj asserted that DPDB was an important platform where the development activities of the district were discussed to take appropriate decisions for the welfare of the people. The DC pointed out that a positive attitude and active participation of the members and HoOs were required for a positive outcome. He said that DPDB was also an important platform for every HoOs and members to coordinate and learn each other’s activities through the power point presentation in every meeting.
While presenting agendas for registration of the societies, DC informed the members to scrutinize the motives of the society before the application was submitted to the DPDB for forwarding to the government.
