A 42-year-old non-Naga woman was seriously injured when a vehicle hit her at Walford area, Dimapur and rammed into a salon injuring an employee on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Bharat Laxman, ADCP & PRO of Dimapur Police, the incident took place around 1:10 p.m. when a Hyundai Eon car driven by one person identified as Niojejhiung (28), reportedly in an inebriated condition, hit a lady pedestrian before ramming into Rütso Salon.
Besides critically injuring the pedestrian, he said a female employee of the salon was also injured. Both were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment. A case had been registered and further investigation was on, PRO said.
