Nagaland University holds ‘Unity Walk’

\Nagaland University’s “Unity Walk” organised under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav,” which is the celebration of India’s 75 years of Independence, was flagged off on March 6 by NU vice chancellor, Professor Jagadish Kumar Patnaik in Lumami.
A press release by the university informed that the walk commenced with introductory speech by dean, social sciences, Professor M.K. Sinha and about 600 people comprising faculty, officers, administrative staff, research scholars, and students participated in the “Unity Walk”.
The release stated that prior to the “Unity Walk”, the Nagaland University has proactively organised a series of programmes to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence.
