The office of ‘Cleaning Brothers’ was inaugurated on Saturday by secretary to the government of Nagaland (land resource) Y. Kikheto Sema (IAS) as the chief guest.
Terming the programme as one among the best, the chief guest lauded the Cleaning Brothers for coming up with such great initiative. “Our forefathers were hard working people, who were not dependent on others to do their work,” he reminded.
The most important value that is missing in the society is the attitude of not wanting to work, he added.
The chief guest also disclosed that Nagaland has the highest government employee to population ratio. The state, at present, has about 97 thousand regular employees and a fixed pay employee of about 22 thousand and 14,744 work charge employees. There is less chance of getting government job but at the same time there is ample opportunity for self employment, he reminded.
Price preference and importance should be given to local products, said Kikheto while also appealing the government department, business community, banks and public to extend their support to such initiative of educated unemployed.
Cleaning Brothers managing director Khekhavi Sema gave a brief introduction about the enterprise. He thanked the parents and various organizations who have extended support and cooperation.
