With an effort to encourage the young minds to rise up above the ways of the world, a summer concert under the theme “Let the River Run” a production of the youth department Konyak Baptist Church Kohima (KBCK) was held at KBCK Saturday.
The summer concert featured an IMEA award nominee James Basnet and melodic voices that included Richard, Anguto, Yeshika, Inato, Pete, Thungjamo, Vilhou, Akum, Bubu, Maither, Hunali, Thejasanuo, Akhono, Thejano, Tesinle, Roko, Avise, Jenifer and Khriela.
Youth director KBCK Z. Mankup said “we” are living in a “crazy world”, surrounded by conflicts, pressures and confusions in every corner thereby the event was organized to give let the youth, understand the “Grace of God” and to let the Grace flow through one’s lives, house, families and land and to strive towards the direction of a New Jerusalem “New Hope”.
Hundreds of youths, from within KBCK and others witnessed the outstanding performance of the artists.
Youth Director also humbly informed that all the artists performed the show for free of cost and thanked their willingness to perform at KBCK and also for sharing and encouraging their versatile “God’s gifted” talent to the youth.
