Longleng District TB Forum held a meeting on May 24 at DC conference hall, Longelng and deliberated on the Prime Minister vision to eliminate TB from India by 2025.
Delivering keynote address at the meeting, district TB officer, Longleng, Dr. Temsusashi, explained on the objective of District TB Forum besides sharing the vision of making Longleng district TB free by 2025 along with the rest of the Country.
Deputy commissioner Longleng, Dharam Raj, who also attended the meeting, stressed on the Prime Ministers commitment to eliminate TB from India by 2025, where the government has been implementing a National Strategic plans to end TB by 2025. He appealed all the participants to come forward and extend their cooperation and support in carrying out the strategic plan to eliminate TB
STS Tongang and TB-HIV coordinator, Meriden Khuvung delivered short speeches and explained about the programme activities in the district and different incentives available under the programme. TB champion, Imtichuba also shared about his testimony about his TB treatment.
