Zunheboto District Administration officials comprising of the Deputy Commissioner Shanavas C, SDO(C) Namang Sepong Chang, SDO(C) Ajit Kumar Raj, along with members of District Child Protection Unit, Zunheboto visited Mount Carmel Children’s Home, Sukhalu village, Children Welfare Society Children Home, and Satakha town & Observation Home, Zunheboto on July 28.
DIPR reports that the team interacted with the children and the staff of the homes. The Deputy Commissioner also encouraged the children to work hard and never give up on their aims in life.
The respective homes shared their grievances and shortcomings, the release added.
The district administration distributed sweets and gifts along with some sports items for recreational activities to the homes.
