Over 160 innovative science models were displayed by the students at the 24th annual science exhibition held at Greenwood School, Kuda village on Saturday. The exhibition was graced by Consultant Radiologist Eden Medical Centre, Dimapur. Dr. Vitsizono Sakhrie.
Reminiscing about her 12 years spent at the school as an alumni, she expressed astonishment at the rapid adaptation of the current generation to new technologies. “It’s encouraging to see how swiftly these kids are evolving. They’re proving that the sky’s the limit. There’s no secret recipe for success, just sheer hard work and dedication,” stated Dr. Sakhrie.
Dr. Sakhrie also highlighted the wonders of early digital exposure for those inclined towards science. The exhibition was organized into two categories: high school and primary level. Among the standout displays was a glamlight model – a working replica of chandrayaan-3.
Speaking to Nagaland Post, principal Nilie Kath Metha remarked, “The Science Exhibition has become an integral part of our curriculum over the years. It not only showcases the talents of our students but also instills a scientific attitude, fostering innovation.”
Other highlights included short sharing on “My experience with Science” by the students and was attended by parent and the students chaired by counsellor Thejaseno Nakhro.
