CPO reminds govt not to overlook stakeholders view

Chakhroma Public Organisation (CPO) has asked the government not to overlook the views of the people, who were the main stakeholders in the amendment of the Nagaland Municipal Act of 2001 in near future.
In a press note, CPO president Vichütuolie Mere  and general secretary Zakievisie Kruse while maintaining that the government’s “deceit necessitated the bandh”, stated it was overwhelmed by the response of the citizens under its jurisdiction which has proved that, “the voice of the people has more power than the people who are in power”.
It has also conveyed special thanks to all the citizens of Chakhroma, both young and old for extending their full cooperation in support of the recently concluded bandh called by JCC and NTAC under its jurisdiction.
