In a noble initiative, Dimapur Government College Alumni Association (DGCAA) extended scholarship to deserving and needy students at the Scholarship Award Function held at DGC on October 13. The association after screening extended the welfare fund to 12 candidates based on their attendance and academic conduct.
The award function was chaired by associate Prof. Lily Rino. DGC principal, Prof. Sanjay Sharma thanked the Alumni Association for the noble gesture by setting good example for the younger generation. DGCAA president, K. Temjen Jamir attributed the noble initiative to their ardent social concern and love for their alma mater.
