The third phase social audit district level public hearing under MGNREGA for Tuensang district audited during the financial year (2023-24) was held on November 21, at DRDA conference hall, Tuensang.
A press release from RD block Longkhim block development officer, Sademongra Sangtam stated that during the event, assistant director of NSSAA, social audit unit Nagaland Imlirenla Sanglir gave a brief introduction.
District resource person Temjenwapang Jamir presented the findings of social audit and was reviewed during the hearing. The village functionaries assured that necessary action will be taken and resolutions were also passed basing on the social audit findings.
EAC Tuensang from district administration Kudazo Swuro represented and informed the village functionaries to consider the social audit as an opportunity to take corrective measure.
BDOs and the staff, MGNREGA beneficiaries, village functionaries and village level organization participated in the meeting.
