CaratLane launches first store in Nagaland

The tenth retail store of the omni-channel jewellery brand, CaratLane in the North East and the first in Nagaland, was formally inaugurated by Mrs Kaisa Rio, wife of chief minister Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio on Saturday at Mall 1922, Khermahal, Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion as special guest, Mrs Kaisa Rio emphasized on the significance of the store’s opening, noting its potential to cater to the diverse tastes of customers while providing opportunities for self-expression and style enhancement. She expressed confidence in the store’s ability to meet the discerning preferences of Nagas, known for their impeccable taste and style.


Also speaking on the occasion, Asst. Regional Manager (NE and North Bengal) CaratLane India, Bandita Changkakoty lauded the performance of the store at its initial stage and expressed the hope that it will continue to show improvement in the days ahead.
It may be mentioned that CaratLane introduced a unique feature called Postcards, available exclusively on the CaratLane app. This offer allows users to record video messages and embed them into any CaratLane ring, as token of affection.


In a statement, Chief Operating Officer of CaratLane, Atul Sinha, expressed delight at expanding the brand’s presence in Dimapur. He cited CaratLane’s commitment to providing customers with a diverse range of jewellery designs and a seamless shopping experience, enabling them to express themselves through jewellery.


The programme included the coal breaking ceremony to release a diamond replica, signifying formation of diamond and lighting of the diyas (lamp) by dignitaries present. A bible passage was read by CEO of GM Retails, Mengunuo Yaden and dedicatory prayer by general secretary Nagaland Baptist Church Council Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho. The programme was chaired by Naga Designer, Bambi Kevichusa.
Dignitaries and officials from CaratLane India- Marketing Manager (East India) Pushpal Bose and Regional Merchandiser (East India) Abiroop Das- including a host of well wishers were present at the programme.
