The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) conducted Uplifting Women Street Vendors Program (UWSVP) for women street vendors on February 26, at Chakhesang Hoho Building in partnership with Capri Loans.
A press release by tEA, informed that Project Associate, tEA, Tekhengutele Nuh, briefed the women on salvaging lifestyle that was based on financial literacy and digital awareness and emphasized on plentiful benefits of habituating savings.
Community Mobilizer, tEA, Imtiwapang Longkumer, educated the women on diverse, convenient, and advantageous saving verticals. He appraised on the many success stories of vendors and entrepreneurs, who have found financial liberation through this vertical.
Tsinshe Yimchunger, a street vendor, delivering keynote address narrated her experiences with regards to financial linkages provided by tEA and its partners.
The event was attended by 50 women from Chümoukedima and Dimapur, and the programme was moderated by Content Writer, tEA, Chubatemjen, who sensitized women on the mission and values of tEA, and foundation of the UWSVP.
On the occasion, QR codes were handed to 23 women street vendors. tEA, in collaboration with Capri Loans, has also conducted UWSVP at Wokha Town and Pfusteromi Village (Phek) on February 23 and 24, respectively.
