Department of Rural Development at a consultative meeting of PDs and BDOs on Monday highlighted the physical achievements and financial progress of various programmes including XVFC, RGSA, Grant-in-Aid, PMAY-G and MGNREGA.
The achievement and financial progress were highlighted by the respective officers which was followed by discussion and interactive session.
The meeting was held at RD conference hall, Kohima with commissioner and secretary, RD, Kevisa Kense as special guest.
In his speech, Kevisa encouraged the officers to take their roles seriously and keep themselves updated to carry out their duties efficiently and to uplift the department to make positive impact in the lives of the rural people. He also emphasized on the importance of good performance and urged them to share their grievances which can then be rectified.
Director, RD, Azenuo Pienyü while welcoming the officers maintained that the main motive behind the consultative meeting was to discuss core issues and problems and also to share each other’s achievements to enhance the performances of each district. She further reminded that everyone hold an important position in the department and encouraged them to take up their roles and responsibilities sincerely.
The meeting was chaired by director, RD, Azenuo Pienyu while vote of thanks was proposed by joint director RD, Taliyanger.
