DGP, Rupin Sharma on Tuesday inaugurated the Punjab & Sind Bank, Dimapur branch at Burma Camp, Dimapur in the presence of Managing Director & CEO of Punjab & Sind Bank Swarup Kumar Saha. The expansion underscores Punjab & Sind Bank’s unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive banking services and fostering financial inclusion in the region by strategically placing branches in various districts. The Bank also aimed to enhance accessibility to its diverse range of banking products and services, ensuring that every community, regardless of location, can benefit from its offerings.
Sharma in his short speech, congratulated the bank for adding another milestone.
Recalling several bad experience in several banks across the country, Sharma said banks should be an enabler and cordial to the customers in meeting all their problems and queries in time.
He also encouraged them to organize more outreach programme in other districts and rural areas inorder to empower people making them understand more about banking including several option of online transaction.
Also delivering short speech Swarup Kumar Saha, stressed on the Bank’s vision to expand its footprint in the North-Eastern Region, aligning with the vision. He said the Bank has inaugurated its 32nd branch in the North-Eastern region, with plans to open four additional branches in the near future.
Expressing more of their bank commitment and service to the people he mentioned that the bank would continue to serve and contribute to the part of North East development and would be reaching far and wide across the country.
Zonal Manager of Guwahati Zone Lalremthang Hmar, Branch Manager (Burma Camp, Dimapur branch) Lunminlal Lhouvum and other dignitaries were attended the inaugural programme.
