Martin Luther Christian University, (MLCU), Shillong organised a one-day seminar on the theme “Postmodern Methodology in doing Research” at Elim Hall DABA, Dimapur on July 30. All together 25 PhD research scholars attended the seminar. The resource persons was Dr. Samuel Meshack, who presented a paper on “Postmodern methodology in doing Research,”. Speaking on the topic, Dr. Samuel emphasized that postmodernism values the personal opinions and the community rather than fix action. He also explained the meaning and objective of postmodern methodology in doing research.
He said that methodology should be a context for research that looks on how to collect sources and valid data concerning the researcher. After the seminar, PhD scholars were provided an opportunity to interact with Dr. Samuel for interactions and discussions and help find appropriate methodology for their research.
The second half of the day was held on general discussion with scholars, and one on one discussion with each scholars, where their work progress were discussed, and timelines were set.
