In view of the scheduled meeting with the 16th Finance Commission on November 5, from 9 a.m. onwards at Hotel Vivor, Kohima Police has issued traffic advisory.
In a press note, PRO Kohima police informed that all up vehicles proceeding towards Kohima from Wokha/Tseminyu will be diverted at Meriema Junction towards New Secretariat between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Residents near the venue have been advised to limit non-essential vehicular travel or use alternate routes during the meeting hours to avoid congestion. In this regard, PRO has sought the support and cooperation of all.
