The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) is all set to participate in the Senior National Wrestling Championship 2024 schedule to take place from December 6 to 8 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
In a statement issued by NWA joint secretary Kuzhovesa Soho, it was revealed that NWA team will be led by NWA President Vivolie Kezo who will serve as the team director and Kikhwesul Thokhwe as team coach during the competition. The wrestlers who will represent Nagaland in the competition are as follows,
MEN
Kusayi Tsutso (74 Kg)
Nutso Yhobu (57 Kg)
WOMEN
Nosezonu Kuotsu (50 Kg)
Vikono Kezo (55 Kg)
VizosenoKiso (57 Kg)
In a show of support and unity, the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) held a special prayer fellowship session for its wrestlers and officials on December 3, at the Kohima residence of NWA president Vivolie Kezo.
The NWA team departed for Bengaluru, Karnataka, on December 4, 2024, where they will participate in the championship from December 6 to 8. The team is expected to return to Nagaland on December 10, 2024. The NWA appealed to all wrestling enthusiasts and the Naga community to keep the participating team in their prayers for a successful and fruitful competition.
