Ura Mavericks to face Central Hurricane in 1st KPL final

Ura Mavericks will lock horn with Central Hurricane in the final of the first edition of Kohima Premier League (cricket) on January 13 at Sovima Cricket Ground, Chumoukedima.
In the first match on day-3 between Oking Outlaws and Central Hurricanes, Central Hurricanes won the toss and elected to bat first. Central Hurricanes scored a target of 145/8 in 20 overs, Viketho Kechü of Central Hurricane scored 39 runs in 41 balls, Solomon contributed 32 runs in 17 balls and Kelhousielie scored 18 runs in 20 balls while Keneilhouozo Chielie of Oking Outlaws took 3 wickets for 16 runs in 3 overs, Thejasetuo Solo took 2 wickets for 21 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, Oking Outlaws chasing a target of 145 runs could not reached the target and scored runs 101/10 in 16.5 overs. Kenielhouoz Chielie scored 29 runs in 24 balls and Thepuluzo scored 27 runs in 19 balls, Kelhousielie was the picked of the bowler taking 2 wickets for 27 runs in 4 overs and Thungchamo took 2 wickets for 21 runs in 3 overs.
Kelhousielie of Central Hurricane was awarded the Man of the match.
In the second match between Ura Mavericks and Capital Sixers, Capital Sixers won the toss and elected to bat first, set a target of 124/8 in 20 overs. Michael of Capital Sixers scored 36 runs in 37 balls, while Temsulong scored 23 runs in 20 balls. While Ura Mavericks bowler Vikato and Tapitu took 2 wickets each.
Ura Mavericks chasing a target of 125 runs reached down the target in 19 overs. Tachuye scored 69 runs in 55 balls. Jenithung of Capital Sixers took 3 wickets in 4 overs for 30 runs.
Tachuye of Ura Mavericks was declared the man of the match.
