Seyochung Area Students Union (SASU) has adopted a four-point resolution for the successful completion of the ongoing road project under PMGSY-III (Seyochung Town via New Monger via Old Monger via Seyochung Village).
According to SASU, the joint meeting was held on April 17 attended by head GBs, and village chairmen’s of Old Monger Village, New Monger Village, Yangtizong Village, and Seyochung Village.
In the resolution, it was notified that no individual should claim any land compensation under PMGSY-III, Naga Political Groups have been requested to not impose any tax on the ongoing road construction, village should provide completion certificate until SASU notifies after spot verification, and the concerned contractors have been directed to complete the road construction as per the time frame. SASU warned that failing to adhere to the resolutions, the union along with the concerned villages would take necessary actions.
