Khuzama Empowerment and Skill Advancement (KESA), in partnership with Doctors for You (DFY) and with sponsorship support from National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. (NHIDCL), organized an awareness camp on menstrual hygiene management along with distribution of free reusable sanitary pads, on May 1, at Khuzama Village Council Hall.
A press release by convenor, KESA, informed that the initiative, assisted by Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), was aimed to promote menstrual health awareness and provide sustainable hygiene solutions to girls and women in the community.
The programme witnessed active participation from over 150 girl students from Baptist Higher Secondary School, Sacred Heart School, and Government High School, alongside women from the Khuzama village.
