The 4th Pre-State Shooting Championship 2025 in Small Bore Rifle and Pistol events is scheduled to take place from May 27 – 31 2025.
The championship will be held across two venues: Aries Rifle & Pistol Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, Dimapur, and Aries Sports Complex Shooting Ranges, Bamunpukhuri-I, Dimapur, as per the official program outlined in Annexure “A”.
Organized by the Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, Khelo India Centre, Dimapur, and conducted under the aegis of the Nagaland Rifle Association, the event promises a competitive platform for shooters across the state.
Participation & entry details:
Championship is open to registered shooters affiliated with District Rifle Associations, Clubs, or Academies in Nagaland. All events will be conducted in individual formats.
Misrepresentation during registration will lead to disqualification. Normal registration closes at 6:30 PM on 22nd May 2025, while late entries (subject to triple entry fees) will be accepted until 6:30 PM on 26th May 2025.
Age Categories:
Juniors: Born in 2004 or later (under 21 years)
Youth: Born in 2006 or later (under 19 years)
Sub-Youth: Born in 2009 or later (under 16 years)
Masters: 45–60 years (must have completed 45 years prior to competition)
Senior Masters: 60–70 years
Super Masters: 70 years and above
Participants are permitted to compete across overlapping categories, as per guidelines. For example, juniors may compete in the senior category, and youth participants may enter both junior and senior events.
Sub-Youth competitors can enter all except Masters and Senior Masters matches. Shooters without a Shooter ID must visit the NRAI website to apply or check their application status. Those already possessing a Shooter ID do not need to reapply.
