Nagaland police have announced a cash award of Rs.5 lakh in exchange for any information that would lead to the arrest of the accused involved in the rape and murder of a teenage girl in Dimapur recently. The police have provided contact numbers of SP Dimapur (9436003022), ASP Dimapur (9436266239) and SDPO Dimapur (9436603583) for any information. On May 15 morning, Dimapur police received a call from locals at around 7.30 a.m. that the nude body of a female, half submerged was found by the riverside near CRPF water pump, adjacent to Hollohon colony. The minor Naga girl, around 14 years of age, had reportedly gone missing from home May 14 evening.
