NPF ridicules Cong ‘onslaught’

NPF party has ridiculed the recent “onslaught” of NPCC leaders on the DAN government and the NPF party and termed it as “child-like enthusiasm and excitement of the new team in the NPCC and Congress leaders in trying out their skill with their newly acquired position.”
NPF associate press secretary Shilumar Ao in a press release said NPF party leaders at an emergency meeting held Friday, were of the view that the recent “surge of zeal and energy” of the Congress party would have been of immense benefit to all parties concerned if directed towards the peace process and related campaigns.
Instead, NPF said the Congress had, once again, fallen short of expectations.
“Perhaps, they all deserved a pat on their shoulders from the Congress big-wigs whom they are obviously trying to impress!-if not for being misled,” the NPF said.
The meeting also concluded that the judgement of Gauhati High Court relating to the petition filed against imposition of President’s Rule in Nagaland, was arbitrary and with “malafide intentions”.
The NPF party said the party might even boycott or prevent the celebration of the diamond jubilee of the Gauhati High Court in Nagaland, “until necessary rectification is effected to the judgement order.”
