Electoral roll

Electoral registration officer and deputy commissioner, Dimapur, Maongwati Aier has notified the electors of 1 Dimapur-I; 2 Dimapur-II; 3 Dimapur- III; 4 Ghaspani-I and 5 Ghaspani-II ACs that the electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 and the copies made available at his office/respective administrative officers/booth level officers. The registration officer in a press release informed that the qualifying date for the preparation of the electoral rolls was January 1, 2009. He also informed that any claims for inclusion of name in the Roll or any objection to the inclusion of names or any objection to particulars in any entry should be lodged on or before November 25, 2008 in Form 6, 7 or 8 as may be appropriate. The DC further informed that every such claim or objection should either be presented in his office or to the concerned BLOs and area administrative officers so as to reach not later than the aforesaid date.
