FHW silver jubilee held

Female Health Worker (FHW) School of Nursing, District Hospital, Tuensang had celebrated its silver jubilee on November 6 at Tuensang at the school premises where, minister for Health and Family welfare, Nagaland, Kuzholuzo (Azo) graced the occasion as chief guest. According to a press note issued by Nepralu Keyho, vice principal FHW School of Nursing, the chief guest advised the nurses to dedicate their service to humanity with commitment. Encouraging the nurses, the minister said, “Nurses must approach the patient with cheerful heart and smiling face as they begin to care and treat the sick people.” Further, the minister had promised that the toilet facility, water supply and fencing for the school and hostel would come up within two to three months.
Major highlight of the programme included release of souvenir magazine by Y.L. Jami, Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, exhortations, skit and songs presented by the Chang youth choir and student nurses, opening and closing ceremony was performed by the Sunday School Department, Sangtam Baptist Church, Tuensang.
Meanwhile, the vice principal, teaching faculty and students expressed gratitude to the chief guest for his generous help and encouragement and also to all the well wishers who had selflessly extended help through cash and kinds, materials and man power and in prayer.
