A senior tatar of the NSCN (I-M), Jami Chang, has defected from the NSCN (I-M) and joined the ‘GPRN/NSCN’ along with a group of his men, informed publicity cell ‘GPRN/NSCN’ in a press release. Asserting that the men had joined the ‘GPRN/NSCN’ on their own volition and pledged to work for the unification of all Nagas, the ‘GPRN/NSCN’ said a united struggle against the common enemy was the only way towards achieving the desire of the Nagas. “The policy makers at Hebron had failed to listen to the Naga people and therefore he was forced to make a new decision in the interest of the Nagas,” the release added.
