TBC youth dept musical nite

The youth dept Thahekhu Baptist Church (TBC) organized a ‘musical nite’ on October 10 at the Church premises. Many bands including ‘CCHAAHSS Brothers’ and ‘Living Water’ singers of yesteryears presented their popular numbers enthralling the audience.
MLA & Advisor, Sericulture and Co-operation, Azheto Zhimomi, was the chief guest who exhorted and urged the youth to take up music as a profession.
He went on reminding the youth that the DAN government has created an avenue especially for the Naga youth and for which Music Task Force has been formed in the state. He encouraged the youth to expose their talents not only within the local Church but also outside the locality where musicians have vast platforms to expose their talents. The programme also presented an opportunity to the ‘Old Time Singers’ for their re-union.
The members of the CCHAAHSS brothers include Akheto, IPS, DIG, Vigilance, NEEPCO, Brig. Samson Aye, Rev. Helkath Cappo, director, mission & evangelism, WSBAK, Hojevi Cappo, Music Promotor, WSBAK, and renowned Chamber Choir member and many other renowned personalities.
The concert was attended by host of dignitaries and Church leaders.
The youth leader, TBC and organizers have expressed gratitude to all the bands that performed at the ‘musical nite’ and for making the programme a grand success. TBC also lauded Azheto Zhimomi, and his family for gracing the programme as the chief guest and also donating a sum of `2 lacs towards the youth department.
