SBCC: Sangtam Baptist Church Chumukedima (SBCC) has lamented the demise of Zerose Sangtam who passed away in an accident on September 2 and stated that the death has created loss for the Church, community and Nagas in general. SBCC further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Kiphire Sadar Sangtam Akehta Dimapur (KSSAD) has mourned the demise of Zerose Sangtam on September 2 in a road accident. KSSAD also expressed that the death has been a loss for the Sangtam community and further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members.
T. Torechu: Parliamentary secretary CAWD, T. Torechu has expressed grief over the demise of Zerose Sangtam, assistant commandant 11 NAP on September 2. The parliamentary secretary in his condolence note also stated that the deceased was well known for his dedicated service rendered towards the betterment of the Nagas as a whole and the death was a loss for the people of Kiphire in particular and Nagas in general. Meanwhile has conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for solace to the departed soul.
ENSUD: Eastern Nagaland Students Union, Dimapur (ENSUD) has mourned the demise of Assistant Commandant XI NAP (IR), Lt. Zerose Sangtam who died in a road accident on September 2 at 2 ½ Mile, Dimapur. In a condolence message the union described the deceased as an efficient and capable officer among the young officers of the Eastern Nagas and expressed its loss of a great and dynamic leader who would be cherished forever. The union prayed Almighty to comfort the bereaved family members and wife with peace and solace and for the departed soul rest in peace.
ENSF: Eastern Naga Student’s Federation (ENSF) has mourned the sudden demise of Zerose Sangtam, Assistant Comandant, 11 NAP who passed away on September 2 at Dimapur. Federation in a condolence message stated that late Zerose Sangtam was very efficient and capable officer among the young officers of the six tribes. The Federation stated it has lost their efficient officer who contributed his good deeds and tireless effort to “our people and the people of six tribes’ students’ community” would not go in vain but would be cherished forever.
ENSF also conveyed it’s pray for the departed soul to rest in peace and expressed deepest condolence to the bereaved family. ENSF has also strongly condemned the barbaric acts of raping the pregnant woman on August 27 near Sowuba village Dimapur. Stating that the act was unimaginable acts committed in this civilized society and Christian state, “the horrible crimes cannot be compromised with simple kind of fine and take this crimes lightly and make them escape goat”. ENSF has appealed the administrative authority to bring the culprits to book and award them capital punishment.

Among on behalf of the union has described his death as a great loss not only to the Sangtam community but to the Nagas in general and has conveyed to the bereaved family members.
